My paintings delve deep into the complexities of both our internal and external landscapes, merging elements of reality with psychological undertones to spark boundless imagination and discovery. Through the metamorphic power of color alchemy, texture, technique, and intricate layering, my art tells its own unique story; revealing vulnerability and growth within the tapestry of my creative journey. Seeking harmony through the interplay of color and form, my paintings reflect the current state of my heart, mind, body, and soul, urging viewers to confront challenges and take risks in their own lives.

Creating has been a lifelong pursuit; exploring multiple mediums for all forms of expression. The last 2 decades have been dedicated to oil painting, creative collaboration, and teaching art across all age groups. Born in Washington, D.C., I began my artistic journey at the Corcoran School of Art before pursuing a Fine Arts program at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. A transformative residency abroad in France led me to San Francisco in the late 90s; in which I graduated from the Academy of Art University and worked as a pioneering art director in the film, theatre, and immersive experience industries.

In my 20s, I sought new horizons and moved to Italy. Allured by a culture rich with history and passion for the Arts, I honed my craft as an oil painter. Learning the Italian language enriched my visual communication, and the experience living between two worlds adapted my perspective on life and my art.

Creating works that explore the duality of life and transience of existence, I strive for compelling compositions that evoke a sense of movement and emotion. I consider myself an action painter, abstract expressionist, and color alchemist.

My paintings have exhibited in prestigious galleries and art fairs across the USA and Europe; including the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, MonteCarlo, and SCOPE Art Fairs in Italy & Switzerland.

Upon returning to the Bay Area after 20+ years with my two children, my art continues to explore the dynamic interplay between our internal landscapes and the ever-changing environments that surround us in a constantly evolving universe. Re-emerging in a post-pandemic era of creativity, I continue to push boundaries in contemporary art and visual storytelling; inviting viewers to explore the complexities of life through art as a form of radical and authentic expression.
